I went because the trip advisers said it was a must see, and I am glad I did. It is a great space with a ceiling that befits a market--not fancy, but quite impressive. Loved the apple fritters, a local specialty we were told.

This market is fabulous. We left with all sorts of unusual fruits and a ton of baked goods. The macaroons at one place are the best I’ve eaten. This is just a hodge-lodge of cultures all under one roof, and it is amazing. We have...More

Always enjoy going to market. The fresh produce, meats, breads and other food items is amazing and prices are reasonable. Love it each time.

It's a good hall on steroids! Do many different food vendors. Each one better than the one before. We even found gluten free cupcakes for my daughter. Everyone is very friendly and the prices are cheap. Keep in mind I'm comparing them to Washington DC....More

Very historic structure with some interesting stands. We were traveling 3 hrs away so weren't able to purchase much - just a few desserts.

We absolutely loved the West Side Market. Not only is the historic building stunning, but there's such a variety of stalls/vendors. From breads, cheeses, meats, pastries, snacks and more...there's so much to try, we could have spent the whole afternoon trying different things!

I’m not sure what the rules are, but a dog on a leash could be a problem. When we’ve been there it is crowded. Dog could get stepped on.
