I've visited Century Village in Burton several times over the years. They have many varied and well run events there depending on the season that you visit. If you have children, this is a good education bet!

The little village shows life in the 1800's and is very well done. It is located in Burton village Ohio which is also quaint. You can shop the old fashioned general store. A very relaxing fun day trip

It is advertised as a living history museum, but there was very little living history. Otherwise, the guides were very nice and descriptive. It is nice to see the old buildings too.

It looks so much different now! Used to visit all the time as a kid, (about 50 years ago! ) Then, it was just a couple of buildings, beautiful green lawns and only a couple of really nice friendly people who ran it. My favorite...More

This charming well preserved village was like stepping back in time. We were able to wander around and explore freely, or ask questions of those people that were working. The blacksmiths were very interesting and informative

A lovely place right next to the Red Maple Inn. A dozen or so small wooden houses, beautifully restored surround a small picture perfect church. A team of volunteers work hard to make this place into a real open air museum, a must if you...More

This is an amazingly wonderful appreciation of our ancestry and their world. Plan a full 2-3 hour tour of restored buildings, assembled at Century Village. From the General Store, Apothecary, One-room School house and homes from 1798 to the end of the 19th century. You...More
