Great museum to spend time with the family and a trip down memory lane. We have 2 teenagers who enjoy the hand on experience and my husband and myself constantly say "you remember" this. Highly recommend the museum for a family experience. Beautiful people who volunteer to keep this wonderful experience alive.

This a museum that caters for most ages with a variety of displays and history The people in the museum were full of information which we very much appreciated. What a great idea to have two entries for the price of one. There is so much to take in.

Dropped in here one afternoon mid week. Very interesting and so much to see. There are about 8 buildings so make sure to go into each one and every room. Worth the couple of hours looking through Australia's history in that area.

A Stanthorpe Museum is a colection of 10 buildings open to the public and it has almost 20,000 items to offer. My favourite part was the 'Make do exhibits' - the sheer ingenuity of the bush! Beautiful and so much fun to explore.

Open the doors and go in. The size and variety of well thought out displays has something for everyone. The size is very deceptive as there are several buildings at the rear that house collections too. Houses set up in their era, an eclictic collection of telecommunications equipment in an old telecom shed... truly wonderful. Well worth the visit.

A lovely museum located close to the main street of Stanthorpe. Enjoyed the various buildings to walk through and easily spent a good couple of hours looking at all the exhibits. Well worth the minimal entry fee.

Very reasonably priced and so much to look at. Not everything is locked away so you can touch some of the displays etc. Lots of different building, some houses done up to represent a period while others are sheds full of interesting things. Lovely just to stroll through each part of it. You will probably hear yourself say, "that was... More

This Museum seems small from the road but has many little buildings filled with different themes. It was displayed and layed out very well and was so interesting. Thoroughly enjoyable and not cluttered or overwhelming. A great way to learn a lot about history without spending to much time! Highly recommend! Staff were lovely too.
