The waterfall was flowing freely and has an amazing swimming hole. Water was very cool but refreshing on a hot summer day. Heaps of room to put your belongings whilst you go for a swim. You can swim directly beneath the falls. There are some mosquitoes so bring repellent if they bother you. The falls are only a short 50m... More

Just pristine and perfect fresh and clean running water, now is the time to visit take BBQ and make it a full day, Don’t jump off the top of the waterfall as there have been a number of accidents there over the years. But you will also find a fool in the water. The area is off the beaten track... More

We visited just after the area had had a lot of rain so the falls were at their best. A beautiful swimming spot that is easy to access.

Even though the falls weren't falling a really nice place to have a swim and relax as the water is bit cooler than the sea 😊

We went here on our recent trip up north, the falls weren't flowing but there was still plenty of water for a swim, it's a beautiful area and main water hole is a short stroll from car park. There is also a walk up to view the falls from above which is quite steep in parts so maybe not recommended... More

There are lots of beaches in and around Airlie but unfortunately you can't swim in them without a wetsuit or skin, due to the many jellyfish problems, the warning signs are everywhere. So looking on the internet I discovered Cedar Creek Falls and decided to give it a visit. What a hidden gem! The water was so clean and refreshing... More

Found this hidden little gem while here on the Whitsundays. We came here twice and really loved it. First day it was quite busy but I think it was a public holiday because we came back again today and had the place pretty much to ourselves. We found a little track and climbed to the top to get a view... More

The area is beautiful. We had been many years ago. This time is was dry and there were no falls and water hole was a bit stagnant. Kids still went swimming and skimmed rocks. Climbed to the top of the rocks which is nice. Well worth a visit- even better after decent rain.

Came here on a Monday, it turned out to be quite busy. Hike up to the top where it is quieter, you can still swim and there are certain pools that are really deep!
