We went here on our recent trip up north, the falls weren't flowing but there was still plenty of water for a swim, it's a beautiful area and main water hole is a short stroll from car park. There is also a walk up to view the falls from above which is quite steep in parts so maybe not recommended... More

There are lots of beaches in and around Airlie but unfortunately you can't swim in them without a wetsuit or skin, due to the many jellyfish problems, the warning signs are everywhere. So looking on the internet I discovered Cedar Creek Falls and decided to give it a visit. What a hidden gem! The water was so clean and refreshing... More

Found this hidden little gem while here on the Whitsundays. We came here twice and really loved it. First day it was quite busy but I think it was a public holiday because we came back again today and had the place pretty much to ourselves. We found a little track and climbed to the top to get a view... More

The area is beautiful. We had been many years ago. This time is was dry and there were no falls and water hole was a bit stagnant. Kids still went swimming and skimmed rocks. Climbed to the top of the rocks which is nice. Well worth a visit- even better after decent rain.

Came here on a Monday, it turned out to be quite busy. Hike up to the top where it is quieter, you can still swim and there are certain pools that are really deep!

The weather was not good. But for the effort of a very short drive out of town it is well worth the trip.

Such a beautiful spot...... I was there when the falls were not falling none the less.... the sun bounced of the water casting little rainbows in lens of camera. Its not a great distance to get to and you could find a spot and hang out there all day with a book...... you need to take your own chairs...... there... More

Was worth the drive in the rain although too cold to swim. Two resident tortoises popped up to say hello.

We visited in August. The falls were flowing thanks to recent rain. The falls were too cold to go swimming so we sat and admired the view. I saw three species of butterfly while we sat there- gorgeous.

We were up visiting a friend to celebrate their 60th birthday, so we decided to go for a drive to take a look at the falls. As an amateur landscape photographer I was very keen to get some pics. Was a fairly easy drive to the falls and not too much trouble for my little Suzuki Swift. Even though there... More
