The Big Pineapple has new owners that want to bring back its glory days of the 70's & 80's. There is a lot of work to do to make up from the neglect of the last 10 years, the Big Pineapple has been cleaned, repainted...More

Change the opening hours on your website you mean bastards. We've just driven 3.2 hours for a little boys 4th birthday. Ruined. And the place is a disgrace. Authorities need to step in. DONT COME HERE it's only open Saturdays

The train was the highlight. Excellent markets, everyone was very friendly and the food was yummy. The cutest little pigs at the animal farm, a must for families who want a nice day out.

The Big Pineapple is now back from the dead thanks to some locals who are restoring this protected icon, but a slow recovery is likely. It is a renowned landmark and is some way from really being worth a visit but... The Big Pineapple is...More

The Big Pineapple is really that - a huge plastic pineapple. You can climb up the stairs inside to get a view of the land beyond. It is something quirky for the kids but nothing you would cry about missing. At the time of writing...More

It's closed for good at the moment, not sure if it will open in the future but it looks unlikely!
