The pineapple is closed due to rain damage but still fun to see it. We did the train ride which was takes you in a loop past the zoo which did look like a good place to take children. Lovely staff, very friendly.

This was the first time that I had visited the Big Pineapple in many, many years. It was disappointing that the cafe, that used to serve amazing Sundaes , was closed and most of the actual plantation was gone. The train, however, was quite pleasant...More

The Big Pineapple is an icon for the region and a frequent stopping point for tours and visitors alike. To view and admire is free, but any other activity you care to indulge in (including a snack) is horrendously (and ridiculously) very expensive.

If it wasn't for the zoo,the big pineapple would have nothing going for it.It needs a decent souvenir shop, not second hand stall markets. What used to be a souvenir shop and cafe seemed to be all closed off which was a shame.Such a waste of...More
