Visited Mossman gorge over 20 years and loved it then, so wanted to go back when cruising to Port Douglas. Still amazing, but this time we had the opportunity of doing the Dreamtime walk with Mooks. This is definitely something everyone should do!

We really enjoyed this walk in what was a small group of just six people with Mooks, our Kuku Yalanji guide. Mooks (I think it means "mate" as he calls everyone 'mooksy', and we couldn't even begin to repeat his Aboriginal name) spent his first...More

Our guide for the dream time walk through Mossman Gorge was Aaron. It was our first day in the country and what a great introduction. Smoking ceremonies, artwork, bush medicine all fascinating. I'm quite unfit and have poor balance but this walk was completely doable....More

We went to Port Douglas on our honeymoon and got a tip to do this tour. It didn't disappoint. Our guide Rodney was amazing and could answer any and all questions one might have. This tour is well worth parttaking!

Our walk with Mooks was one of my favorite moments during our trip to Australia. He's incredibly talented and knowledgeable but also generous enough to share so much of the wisdom he possesses. He introduced us to some of the customs of his people, to...More

A real gem, hidden away in Mossman, a friends 12 yr old daughter was holidaying with us up there and after snorkeling, jet boating etc, she said Mossman Gorge was the best thing they seen or had done, I guess that says it all.

We had a very good guide, obviously having great pride in his traditions, who took us through part of his tribe's rain forest, explaining about the various plants and trees and their uses in the local culture. Also heard a creation myth. Beautiful scenery. Well...More

HI. Great info thanks Chris. We're flying into Cairns in the morning and driving up to Cape Tribulation. Think we might do this as a nice stop on the way. How much time would you recommend for this stop? We are 2 adults and 3 kids coming up from Adelaide. Will definitely be bring the swimmers! Thanks
