I was told that we could see Cassowaries near the Etty Bay. We drove all the way, parked our car and looked everywhere for the Cassowaries. Where were they? Maybe they were scared due to the wild ocean. That day we were here, the waves...More

Deep cyan waves, looming rainforest atop rolling hills, melodious seafoam crashing against an endless rocky coastline.... In this intimate little beach, you can swim inside the stinger-net, picnic beneath a towering emerald rainforest, and get up-close-and-personal with sweet, curious and gorgeous cassowaries! Down on the...More

Etty Bay is a nice small beach to visit, beautiful location not far from Innisfail. Visited a few time from Cairns and well worth it, small Cafe close by so you can get some food and drinks.

A little bit of a drive from Innisfail CBD, but it was a beautiful drive. The beach was nice and it had a netted area to swim. We were lucky enough to see a cassowary.

Having spent my life in the Innisfail community and attending this beautiful setting for many years daytime/nighttime you would be pressed to visit a more pleasant setting in the whole district

A gorgeous little beach only 10 minutes drive from the highway. Has a great café with very nice food. A perfect spot for fish n chips of a late afternoon :)

Perfect beach. Caravan and camping right at the shore with bbq’s and picnic tables available. If you’re lucky you’ll see a Cassowary roaming the beach. There’s a cafe/store.
