The staff in the information centre are very informative about Emerald & its surrounding Gem fields. The Large painting of the sunflower is located in the park behind the centre. There is also a small old village that has been relocated, unfortunately it is not...More

It always amazes me that these places are staffed I believe by volunteers who give freely of their time and knowledge.We met a particularly helpful man who went the extra yard to help prioritise the the things we should do with our limited time

This is a great place to stop in if you are visiting Emerald or the Central Highlands area. They have a ton of maps, brochures and pamphlets that are free and will highlight what to do and see in the area, they even have stuff...More

The volunteers at the centre are extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to ensure that visitors have a great time while in Emerald.

Great people with all the info on what to do and see around the central highlands. Easy to park and located beside some tourist features.

We called in for local maps and information and were given all we needed. maps and other leaflets are didplsyed in geographical areas and it was easy to get what we needed

Sure is... take the Gregory Hwy then turn off onto the Peak Downs Hwy... it's a sealed highway all the way through. Also a lot quicker than going via Rockhampton.
