Due to the mother being hit by a vehicle, up The Cape, in August 2015 we were given a tiny little Joey to look after. We called her Ruby. She broke her leg so we had it fixed and went through 4 months of rehabilitation...More

A good variety of native wildlife, some of which you don’t easily see in the wild or at other zoos. There were only a few other visitors so it was an intimate experience and some of the animals were quite interactive which was awesome. The...More

We visited this zoo on our return from the Daintree River. Well priced and given a tour by one of the volunteers.Whilst not huge, there is plenty to see especially if you get a chance to see the crocodiles being fed. Sometimes it is nice...More

This is a small family owned zoo. It is a great way to see the local animals up close - Crocodile, Kangaroo, Wallaby, Dingo, Emus, tons of birds and more. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable.

This place is magical as it is so relaxed - you can get close encounters with different animals and see an amazing diversity including some endemic species that only exist in the Cape Tribulation area!

A jump in the wild and easy-going Australia with this stay: the zoo is just under your room ! Still, very familiar to have breakfast or dinner with the other guests and the nice owners. Lovely, nice containers and bottles for honey or jam, as...More

First off, it's a nice bed-and-breakfast. For four of us, we had a room with a king sized bed and two twins for the kids. There was a bathroom in the room. Breakfast is basic, cereal and toast options. When we were there they had...More
