Our day with Juan on Walkabout was exactly what we had hoped for. We learned about Aboriginal culture and the history of the land, plants, and animals from an indigenous guide in a small group setting. We hunted for pippis barefoot in the sea, practiced “spear hunting”, and enjoyed lunch with homemade damper in our guide’s family home. And of... More

We had two weeks of amazing adventures with my family across Australia - hands down this was THE best day out of all of them! Juan is wonderful, funny, kind, sweet, informative, fun, adventurous and such a genuine nice guy. My family learned so much as we drove with him, walked with him, and swam with him. The lone Mangrove... More

This is one of the best Tours we have ever taken -and we have taken quite a few all over the world. Our guide, Juan, was quite knowledgeable and personable, and gave us an insight into his Aboriginal culture that you can't get from a museum or literature. He allowed us into his home, to have lunch in his parents'... More

This day trip surpassed all expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. Percy was our guide for the day and was very engaging, telling us stories of his family history, showing us all the sights around daintree, port douglas and mossman. We also got to have a go at spear fishing for crabs, although we... More

We went on the Discovery Walkabout with Ron as the driver and Jan as the tour guide through the Mossman Gorge. Ron was incredibly humorous, knowledgeable, and good natured. What a treasure throughout the entire day. Jan was our guide through the Mossman Gorge and helped us understand some of the ways and cultures of the indigenous peoples of the... More

Our Walkabout Cultural Adventure Tour was an absolute highlight of our Honeymoon. Juan was incredibly gracious and generous, and the entire day was wonderfully informative and educational. We went spearfishing at Cawie Beach, where Juan showed off some great skills with the spear; ate green ants directly off a tree branch; enjoyed a lovely lunch at Juan's parents' house; and... More

A day in the Daintree with Juan, a true son of the land is a special treat. He and his family are custodians of their traditions and Juan has a wonderful matter of fact way of describing the things you see and more importantly the things you don't see. He got my wife and I to eat a green ant... More

Juan is an excellent guide. He will take you to more interesting and picturesque places in the Daintree and Mossman area. He is congenial and good-humoured guide with a vast knowledge of the area's indigenous and non-indigenous history as well as the region's flora and fauna. Lunch of freshly-caught crabs and pipis at his family home was a highlight. Highly... More
