After reading some negative reviews read here I was filled with trepidation- but my fears were unfounded. As one of our party was inexperienced and one rearing to go we found the staff friendly, kept us well informed with good instructions The first part of the ride was good for orientation and our bearings The entry to the beach on... All in all, the worst trail ride i've ever been on. The ride was okay, although i was very disappointed when we got to the beach and only those with a black helmet were allowed to canter (which i didn't have, although i have been cantering numerous times before). The girls who were our guides were lovely about it, apologised... More

We went on the mid morning ride along St Andrew's beach during the Christmas / New Year break. The ride goes for about 2 hours in addition to the 45minutes it takes to get set up ready to ride, so allow about 3 hours for a two hour trail ride. The ride follows the road through scrub before climbing over... More

We went on the early morning ride with Jess as our leader. It was our anniversary and such a beautiful morning. We had to be there at 7am and the ride started at 7:30am. We were the only ones booked in so it was a quick and smooth process from the time we entered to meeting with our horses. Once... More

The good news first they have gorgeous and sweet 🐴 horses. I also loved the incredible scenery. The beaches and trail was stunning. One of their horses had so may scars on his back end that I was uncomfortable with how these animals are being treated. I don't know if it was from whip or crop marks? The same one... More

Thief and a liar. Bought 3 ponys from them that turned out to be drugged on the day they were ridden and bought. Despite knowing they were for beginners she still sold them and a week or so later when we tried to ride them they were like brumby's. Had no interest in coming to ride them herself to prove... My three children (ages 9, 11, 13) did the half day holiday program and loved it! They were happy with the amount of riding they got to do. My youngest was quite nervous and had not ridden before - the guide was very understanding and lead her the whole way. The other two had done the same program a few... More

Gunnamatta provides very well looked after horses with experienced horse riders accompanying each group on the trails. I have been a regular rider there over the last 18 months. It's an absolute joy to ride through scenic bushland with good long stretches of cantering available as an experienced rider. The staff pick suitable horses to match the riders skills .Office... Had a wonderful time. Well behaved horses, professional, friendly staff. We cantered a lot along the bush trail. The highlight was the walking and cantering along the beach.
