Such a shame that the owner of this terrific bookshop has passed away - it's a delight in every way. And great value too. Nothing nicer than rooting through the piles of books scattered about the place, never knowing what you might find.

A huge range of books piled haphazardly around the maze towards the counter where the owner very helpfully checked his lists of what he had and roughly where to find them. A brilliant range of Sci Fi fantasy which was our holy grail.

A great range of reasonably priced secondhand books. Bought 3 books for a tenner. Could have spent more time and money. Friendly and helpful.

Wasn't expecting such an unassuming shop front to be such a cornucopia. It you love books you will find something here. It was almost painful to leave without buying half a dozen volumes. It reminded me of one of those shops that Terry Pratchett wrote...More

Charming and unassuming external appearance hides a treasure trove of books for the avid collector. Because it is a little off the beaten track, it still holds undiscovered treasures at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit no matter what your reading or collecting interests may...More

If you like to browse for second hand books then this is your place. Its great to see a book shop thriving. Its also easy to park outside.

I cannot recommend this bookshop highly enough. It is small but absolutely packed full of the most wonderful books. Although I live nearby and go fairly frequently, I always see something new and irresistible whenever I go. It shares the premises with a framers, and...More
