A little bit flooded when we visited, but it is a lovely park with lots of Canada geese and some white ducks. Flowers had started to bloom, but I imagine it is much more colourful in the Summer months. Plenty for children to do here and a splash pool in the warmer months !

St. Oswald's is a lovely town Church, right in the centre of Ashbourne. The Clergy and congregation are very welcoming to visitors, as they were to us when we moved to Ashbourne this year. The church is very interesting and the graveyard is a picture in the Spring, with thousands of snowdrops and other bulbs.

This park is well maintained by experienced groundsman. There is a loverly play area with benchs to have a picnick or a rest. There is also a splash pool on there working in summer but it gets switched of in winter i think end of October time. Dogs are not allowed on the play area and no smoking is allowed... More

Wonderful on a sunny day and water splash park great for kids and it is all FREE. Lots of open spaces for picnics and don't forget the tennis gear and there is also a table tennis concert knockabout table.

This is a super local park with plenty of green space, seating if you need it and plenty of room for ball games, walking the dog or just sitting and enjoying the peace and tranquility.

The formal borders just inside the impressive entrance on Cokayne Avenue, could have been better for not a great deal of investment, considering the number of visitors to (and passing through) Ashbourne, it's a missed opportunity for the town and a little remiss.

I take my dog for a walk across the fields and over the bridge to the park. There is also a small park for children which i sometimes take my cousins to. They enjoy it and sometimes on a summers day there is an ice cream van. The memorial gates get dressed with wreaths on memorial weekend.
