They opened up at 7pm om Christmas Eve for the residents of the local hotel and put a magnificent show (the restored organ) and the icing on the cake was to also see the classic cars they have restored/ The owners really do deserve more visitors --- its a real gem hidden away

Wonderful night when it was 'The Last Night Of The Proms' fascinating and clever use of the musical instruments to the playing of the pipes. Well worth a visit

We take a group of around 30 - 35 people every year for the Christmas show, which is always well run, with good organisation. Everyone is made very welcome and greeted with a glass of sherry or orange juice on arrival with tea or coffee and a mince pie at half time. The music is excellent with something to suit... More

This is an entertainment outing not to be missed! Looks nothing from the outside, a building in a garage forecourt, but wow what an evening of musical entertainment! Christian played the Compton organ, providing an evening of wonderful music. Very accomplished on the organ and all ancillary instruments, it is marvel to sit back and watch how he flicks switches,... More

This was a real gem, a lovely concert in Dovedale with Stephen Foulkes playing the restored Compton cinema organ with all the novelty instruments and tweety birds operated to play with the organ. The venue was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we had mince pies and sherry included. Thanks to the volunteers who helped to organize this and the people... More

Al six of us had looked forward to our visit to Pipes in The Peaks, believing we had some idea of what it would entail....however, we were 'bowled over', it was so much more than we had hoped for...the venue was decorated beautifully for Christmas, it looked stunning and the atmosphere wonderful too. Santa handing out drinks as we entered... More

Some bias here as I know the owner of this interesting attaraction. It's located in a beautiful part of the Peak District - I have visited more than once for classic car gatherings, coffee stops and concerts. I have never been disappointed. The fully restored and enhanced pipe organ is an amazing piece of engineering ... ful marks to owner... More
