We went for a short walk and it was OK. Very quiet. The water level was very low which makes it feel neglected. Quite a few birds on the water and around the edge.

We stayed at the Carsington Water Caravan site, and it was amazing. We loved it that much, we booked a further 4 nights. Lovely walks, quiet, everything you need. It'll always be our magical place. Great facilities, and great customer service. Highly recommend.More

We called here to meet up prior to our accommodation being accessible at 4pm. Bright and airy and lift to first floor which suited our accessibility need. Several coffees later followed by a walk the following day. Well worth a visit for a decent walk...More

Carsington is an excellent place to walk or cycle. An orbit of the reservoir is about 6-7 miles which you can walk or cycle. You can take your own bike or hire one from the centre. There’s a large pay and display car park and...More

Great place to visit with lots to see and very interesting on the history of Carsington ,it's location is in a beautiful surroundings but if go go get a all day parking ticket only £5 .well worth a visit .
