A very quaint Cumbrian village that can at times be overrun by tourists. Very pretty buildings, alleyways and small river. Lots of quirky shops and places to eat. It must have one of the smallest race courses in England, park there if you intend to...More

What a stunning village that is steeped in ancient history & so beautifully kept. It was mystical & felt as though we were stepping back in time, wow! Thank you England for preserving your history 🤗

This is a lovely village to walk around and very accessable. This arch is great piece of history right in the middle of the village, just off the square.
