The chimes from the clock can be heard in the town centre. The tall tower is visible from much of the town although the entrance is via a pedestrianised passage off Hill Street.
The recent renovations have improved the interior.
Visited the Institute for a meeting and was amazed at the major refurbishment underway. The former weights training room has been refurbished and is now fitted out for displaying pictures etc. Will be a great meeting room.
