The gardens, homes and trails of Waddesdon Manor are great. We got caught in the rain and had an inexpensive high tea in restaurant.

A charming manor house with Renaissance inspired design in the countryside of Buckinghamshire with the quaint village of Waddesdon a stones throw away. There is lots to see and do here for the whole family from tours of the wine cellar, childrens playground and a tour of the house to just name a few things. The entry price is free... More

Very impressive country house with beautifully laid out gardens. Great views over the landscaped garden at the back and out over the hills towards Winchendon. We visited over Christmas and the Christmas decorations and lights were beautifully crafted and presented. Impressive outdoor light show.

We decided to have our first visit here over Christmas, while the Christmas event was on, and left with mixed reviews. Unfortunately by the time we arrived, all the house tickets had sold out, so we missed out on a tour around the manor. We were also disappointed to find that the statues around the gardens were all covered up,... More

Whenever we have guests, I always recommend going to Waddesdon Manor which is a stunning beautiful building. Lovely grounds for walking, tea rooms and a National Trust shop. Drive in and jump on the bus which travels the short journey to the house every ten minutes or so. You will be well impressed and hard pushed to find a more... More

We have lived in the area for many years but never visited before. This visit was the first of many, I'm sure. The grounds are beautiful and the house is stunning. We had a lovely relaxed walk around the gardens - and the complimentary bus is such a huge bonus for those of us with bad backs.

Visited Waddesdon on the last day of the Christmas light display. We had booked afternoon tea, which was delicious. We hadn't anticipated the long queue for the car park or for the Gingerbread House in the stables, which we had to miss as we had timed entry for the Manor. However, the lights in the Manor were, as always, breathtaking.... More

We visited after Christmas to see the Christmas light display they had advertised. We could not get into the house as we had not pre booked at a cost of £5 extra, it was fully booked by 12.00 when we arrived. It was a lovely bright crisp day and we were wrapped up against the cold. The gardens looked lovely... More
