Great place to spend a few hours on a sunny day. Keep your eyes open for stray kites on the weekend though! Great views across Bedfordshire. Good cafe and shop too.

A guarantee you'll get plenty of wind The welcome centre is well equipped if you need to buy a kite or coffee tea or a bite to eat. Fantastic views from the downs Its also a great place to walk the dog

Hello, Most days you can see the planes that come into Luton Airport. The flight path tends to be towards the back of the Downs coming in over Whipsnade village.
