Three fantasy-like buildings made up of approximately 30 000 recycled glass bottles of various colors and sizes, surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. A haven for nature lovers, recyclers and photographers. The late Edouard Arsenault built the structures in the early 80's, spending the last four years of his life in this amazing project - family-run for over twenty-five years. Featured in "Ripley's Believe It or Not" and "1000 Places to see before you die".

I found the bottle houses to be extremely neat and interesting. We didn't stay too long as it doesn't take very long to tour all 3 houses but I think it was well worth the extra drive to see this gem! Spend some time on the grounds outside the houses as well they are extremely well maintained and beautiful.

The three amazing houses made of bottles in color in an area. The well maintained outer area with lovely variety of flowers and trees and a small bridge, all are must visit. Do not miss it. The garden looks like paradise just for relaxing and refreshing. The gift shop has some local nice arts for souvenir. The staff were friendly... More

We loved visiting the Bottle Houses. It is truly unique and admiring to see all of the work and thought that went into building these. The gardens are also very nice to see. If we return to P.E.I. we will definitely be returning to see these again.

The Bottle Houses are very charming and pretty. The gardens are gorgeous, even though we were there near the end of the season, and the view is stunning. The history of the houses and their creator is very interesting, there are books in each building outlining the story of that building. We visited on a whim after picking up a... More

We drove all across the island to visit here but this a place you must visit. We enjoyed the amazing gardens with an immense variety of flowers. We counted more than a hundred different ones! We loved the tranquillity of the pond and stream too. The six gable house was the first building Eugene created but we especially enjoyed the... More

Started by a man collecting bottles. He decided to build a structure which led to another. It became an attraction so the family reconstructed the buildings after they started to deteriorate. A fun place to visit

This place is so interesting and beautiful. The garden is so amazing, the variety of flowers are amazing. There is a nice boutique selling unique items at a great price. Only thing missing is for them so sell seeds to grow these beautiful flowers in our gardens.

When you first look inside the chapel all you really notice are the bottles. But look a little closer and you will see crosses of brown bottles and Christmas trees, quite amazing detail. The bottle houses will not disappoint, but take time to stroll the gardens and try to count the amazing variety of plants there for a relatively small... More

This was buried at #9 on the list and really needs to be highlighted. I like something other than churches, lighthouses and shore. All originally built by Edouard Arsenalt. Very amazing with concrete walls and bottles. A little recap of what you will see. First is the chapel with altar, pews, etc built with 10,000 bottles. Next is the six-... More

Pretty garden and three little houses that a man who collected bottles created long before there was any recycling of glass. There was also a small replica of a lighthouse. Tiny little gift shop also and we were given umbrellas to use since it was raining. It seems that everything is relative and since I had seen a huge glass... More

Thanks for your recent visit and your review! For the benefit of future readers, I would like to indicate the size of all our buildings, although not huge, does allow visitors to go inside. We also consider our giftshop as quite spacious and comparable to others on the Island and we keep getting very favorable comments on it. Sorry the... More
