I was in the Prince Edward County for business for the past week and stopped to check out the Sandbanks Winery. Tasted a few varieties and came home with a bottle ( would have been more but with flying). Bought some local cheese and sausage as well. If you're in the area, stop in and check this Winery out!

Sandbanks is a great stop on the wine trail. They had quite a few different whites and reds to sample, 5 including in a tasting. Easy drinking wines and reasonably priced. Lots of bar space for tastings and very friendly/knowledgeable staff. The wine is vegan too!

Of the four wineries visited on the Prince Edward County Wine Tour today, this was my favourite. They offer large wine tasting areas; the space is open and bright; and there are many gift items available, too. The tastings were paired with different snacks (chocolate covered coffee beans; dried apricots; crackers and mustard), which was very nice. This was the... More

It was a great day to visit again because it was a special unveiling of some of their wines. We sampled 5 wines, some great little snacks and the winemaker who was serving us was super friendly and knowledgeable. Remember this winery from 2001 when they were working out of the basement of their new home, a real success story!... More

we were here for wassail, a local wine festival. the wines that we tasted were generally disappointing, but the staff were friendly and had nice food options to snack on. the check out process for purchases was exceedingly slow.

I have been a fan of there wines for a while and after the samplings found more I enjoy. The facility is nice and the staff are all friendly. Although it was busy, everyone was helped quickly and I never felt rushed.
