we stayed at Huron camping site for 2 nights. The camping site is small, but privacy is very good. Comfort station was busy around 6-8pm and it will be perfect if there is more comfort station. The best activity we had in the park is...More

Unlike alot of Provincial Parks lately I liked the space especially with more privacy. We don't like to see our neighbors loved all the trees to screen them out. We picked a site where you cannot see anyone, or there camp fire at night. We...More

All the tent sites are great. Tables, fire pit with grates, and enough privacy. Toilets near by, camp store and really kid friendly

Great place to see if you're looking for short walks with kids. There's an entrance fee (per vehicle/day) but it's worth it.very nice views along the sunset point walk!

My 6 year old daughter loves it here! We live nearby and really enjoy that such a beautiful park with a wide variety of ecosystems is just up the road. There are a variety of trails that are easy to walk and short enough for...More

This provincial park along with Inverhuron are among the best in this stretch of Ontario. Beautiful flora and fauna; lots of space and privacy. Excellent trails for biking and hiking. Swimming beach is perhaps the only drawback - go to Inverhuron for this.

One of Ontario's lesser known parks, though a pretty good option for a visit to nature. There is a long enough walking trail along the waterfront. We only walked about half of it but it was still about 8 km round trip. There are other...More

Nicest park in southern Ontario -- beautiful trails, incomparable beaches, breathtaking views of Lake Huron, heart-stirring coves to sit and ponder the beauty of nature. This is a park for everyone: accessible to the young, and the young-at-heart who want to experience nature in its...More

We rode our bikes into the park this year. It is well maintained (bathrooms are clean) and great for camping. We didn't like the beach as there is a lot of seaweed and its a bit rocky.

For yurts we always had to make reservations 6 months in advance. I'm sure campsites are the same. Might be worth it to call them directly and book by phone if you are having difficulty with the website.

Yes there are restrictions with pets on the main beach. However, I believe there is a dog friendly beach near the entrance/park store. I didn't go to it myself, but I saw some reviews that mentioned it before, as well as a... More
