Area in the middle of nowhere. Paths hrough woods well used . Do not go after rainfall as very muddy reflective of namesake.

We have been to mud lake quite a few times since we moved to Niagara. There are a few trails you can take so there is a choice. Be careful during tick season we have found a few on us. Lovely place to go!!!!

Loved the tranquility of this conservation park. Wildlife galore, frogs were croaking, tadpoles observed. If you're lucky like me you'll see deer. One caveat you'll need your wellies in the early spring. However worth every step to return to nature.
