After such a beautiful day and such a perfect wedding ,I have to say that I was very disappointed as to how the banquets Manager Christina handled the end of our night , She not only was very unprofessional and very rude but to add to the insulting , she did nothing to help out the entire situation when it... We play both the north and south course at Deer Creek. The south course is not a favorite as I believe the ladies tees should be elevated tee decks for the price of a green fee and playing under the hydro lines isn't the best. However, the north course is great! Wonderful conditions and a nice challenging course. The club... More

Our twosome had a good experience. The course staff were friendly and understanding to newcomers. Our main comment is that while the south course is advertised as 'forgiving', the sapphire holes we played as our front nine contained some nasty water features that struck us as pretty tough. The Emerald holes which were our back nine were more enjoyable.

as part of a golf league we play Deer Creek north / south numerous times over the summer. I have nothing negative to say about Deer Creek, the staff, everything is fine, the staff are great / professional, the courses are in great shape and can challenge any caliber of golfer. my only concern is that as we tee off... The course is very easy to walk. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with any question that may arise. I was there for a tournament and the food for it was great. I will definitely return to this course again this year!

Nice setting and not-unreasonable green fees. One of the better courses in the Durham region. Both the Deer Creek courses are actually quite nice. Have played here at least 5 times over the years and the grounds are always well kept.

If you want to play on a course where the marshalls are elitist pricks and the head pro does not care about the concerns of its paying customers, then Deer Creek golf club is perfect for you. We were the second group off in the morning after a one hour fog delay so there were many groups waiting at the... More

Every year we attend the Good Shepherd Golf day to raise funds for the homeless. Almost 400 people and the folks at Deer Creek pull of seamlessly. Hats off to all of their staff. Nice course in great shape this year. Well worth your time.

I enjoyed the friendly, courteous assistance from the staff. The courses ( 3 separate nines) are fair and challenging, depending on the tee that is selected. They are good value for the money. There is an opportunity to view beavers, foxes, deer and birds, as you travel fairways. You can enjoy a good selection of beer and generously portioned meals... More
