Great hiking experience

Very scenic hike, beautiful waterfall. Great place to see Fall colours. Don't necessarily need hiking boots, running shoes will do. Short drive from GTA.

I have visited Hilton Falls many times for both day and night hikes. I love this place as the trails are well maintained. During spring, one will see the thousands of trilliums, white and purple, bursting out of the ground. The waterfall is small, but it s beautiful. I have also gone to this CA for night hikes with my... More

You can fish in the reservoir or hike the trails. Good spot for picnics and close to highway for easy access.

First time visiting. Only did the short 2.5 KM walk. The area seems very beautiful and interesting. Terrain is not highly challenging but is not for the week of heart. Will return for more exploration.

By now, the temperatures are more moderate and we have had some rain so there is a decent amount of water going over the waterfalls. By late September the fall colors are very nice most years. Worth a walk. It's not strenuous at all unless you go directly up the very steep hill from the parking area. But get a... More

There are 4 hiking trials in the park and the Hilton Falls Trail is the one that brings you to the Fall. Probably there lacks of rainfall in the last couple of days, the Fall does not look as attractive as the photo shown here. However, it worth to spend around an hour to explore. To enter any of the... We spent the afternoon hiking here. The quickest route to the falls is the Hilton Falls Trail (yellow). It only took about 30 min to get there. The trails are well maintained for the most part and I would recommend the yellow trail for most fitness levels. On the way down we took Red Oak Trail (red) and that that... More
