Our mission is to preserve the past of Canada South for the education and interpretation of present and future generations. Sitting on 100 Acres, our 25000 square foot Transportation Museum showcases modes of transportation from early wooden wheel wagons all the way to the present day Viper! Our Heritage Village is a journey back in time to 15 buildings that have been placed here from all over Essex County. Our tour guides would be happy to take you back in time to learn the treasured history of our area. Our Village is open Tuesday Through Sunday May 01 - October 31st, and our Museum is open year round for tours.

We have gone to the Diner at the Transportation Museum several times for breakfast . The food is very good and reasonably priced but the service is a little bit slow .

Great place to visit. Very informative. Many things to see. Can spend all day there looking at all the cars and touring the old buildings. A lot of history. Great place for young and old. Fun restaurant.

We had a nice tour of the cars and the Heritage Village. The cars were beautiful and the tour guide explained each one and answered our questions. I am not an old car fan and usually find old cars boring but this was quite interesting....More

We toured both the heritage village and the transportation museum. Tour guide was excellent and had lots of interesting facts to share. They prefer tours at 10am or 1pm so you need to plan your day ahead of time. Had lunch at the 50's diner...More

you can take a guided tour of the museum ,also the village. Some great vehicles in there with the car featured in amelia movie. nice 50's style diner too food is good prices reasonable. Dont pass this one up if you like transportation.
