A gorgeous and humbling recollection of the times and the honoring of those who fought for us during WWII. I am proud of all who does take the time to remember and not just on Remembrance Day. Great family trip and educational spot you may wish to take our future citizens. The grassy area of to the left is perfect... More

It used to be a nice place to go but now it's littered with Pokemon zombies. Very disrespectful with trash everywhere

As others have said this is a memorial for world war 2 veterans. There are plaques to read on the war history and the town of Ajax. The gardens are very pretty and well maintained and seating in the gardens and over looking the lake. There are both walking and bike paths. After walking here I always think that Ajax... More

This is a lovely memorial tribute garden to honour our veterans. It is in the centre of the park along the waterfront and worth stopping to look at. You might even "tear up" and reflect on what is happening in our world today with violence and hatred. The Town of Ajax and whoever else created this monument site have done... More

This is a nice little area with lot's of benches and beautiful gardens. It is quiet and relaxing. As well, since it is along the waterfront trail then it can be a good stop along your hike/bike ride to take a break. In summary: Clean, quiet, and nice flowers.

Interesting history of Ajax and the battle of the River Plate (involving the HMS Ajax) on the various plaques. Nice spot to overlook the lake.

A walking park on the bluffs of Lake Ontario at the foot of Harwood ave. Historical plaques and pictures highlight the history of Ajax. Lots of benches and some picnic tables. Washrooms adjacent to the nearby parking lot.

Located at the end of Harwood Avenue, you will find veterans point. There you will find a monument that has been set up to acknowledge Ajax's role in the second world war. There is plenty of parking and also washrooms for your convenience. This is a nice location to get a good view of the shore of Lake Ontario. There... More
