A little hard to notice when walking along the main street as it is elevated up from the road. The place is laid out to make learning an experience not a chore. Plenty of hands on for children and adults too. One could spend hours...More

With the drizzle falling on Canada Day decide to have a look in here and were pleasantly surprised. Lots of interesting local history and information especially on the early European arrivals to MB.

This museum was very informative when it came to the history of Mahone Bay. It is quite a small museum but the information is interesting and the staff is very helpful! It is free to go through but they appreciate donations!

Small but interesting museum. Displays touch on many aspects of life in Mahone Bay. Free admission so no reason not to go!

A quick visit to this little museum is absolutely worth it. The young woman at the desk eagerly gave us a little tour and explained the history of the area in an engaging manner. Go and learn about a beautiful part of Canada.

The museum is full of interesting stories and pictures about the development of Mahone Bay and the area, but I came in late September and caught them in the midst of closing. Worth a visit if you come between May - late September

We were driving through the area and decided to stop here. We gave a donation, but the museum itself is actually free. They had several interesting exhibits on the town and its immigrant history. Definitely worth a stop!

A great little community museum that remains focused on the history of a great little town. They work hard to change up some of the subjects each year.
