We planned this trip several months ago, primarily based on Score Magazine rating. A big disappointment. The t-boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens are all in desperate need of attention. Ladies wear your sports bras when driving over these VERY bumpy fairways. But the worst problem...More

Played this course and before starting acknowledged it is in a national park therefore maintenance activities are mandated by environment. Secondly this is a mature golf course built without recourse to modern equipment and carved out of a natural environment. If you are expecting "US"...More

The views are quite wonderful, but as a golfing experience I was quite disappointed. I played a couple places after this, one of them just a local Cheticamp course, and had way more golfing fun at those. I read that the architect had the workers...More

First of all I want to make it clear that The Highlands is a fantastic golf course design and layout from Stanley Thompson. Unfortunately it has deteriorated as a premium golf course while under the management of Golf North, who seem to have a history...More

No practice range, poorly maintained fairways and bunkers, not a Links course, cross the highway twice, five hour round. Big disappointment. Not at all worth the drive from Cabot.

I spent a day playing a terrible round of golf on this beautiful course (my game was terrible, not the course). This is a challenging course to play where your ball never seems to have a flat lie which makes every stroke interesting. I lost...More

A Stanley Thompson classic course. Stunning views and great historic golf experience. Don't let the bumpy hilly fairways deter your enjoyment. The course was built by hand! No bulldozers to smooth things out like on today's modern tracks. Step back in time.
