When we went, the trail was taking a very difficult and muddy detour back and forth through the woods. We were re-routed several times due to the construction of the new trail. It was hard going up but we could pull on trees a bit,...More

This is an easy up and down hike that is worth the stop. They are in the process of rebuilding the trail so at the moment there are sketchy bits that detour out of the way but this trail is so worth your while. The...More

We hiked 68k in 5 days and this was our favorite. There is quite a bit of mud and parts of the trail are under construction but it is still worth the 5k return hike.

There is very little warning that much of the trail is being refurbished. Please be aware that this ‘trail’ is under significant repair, the detour is very muddy and steep and much of the trail is in poor shape. Most of the ‘trail’ is actually...More

So we went hiking after several days of rain, so the trail was quite muddy. However, the staff were actively trying to reroute hikers to more solid ground. The beginning is a little steep but the top has lots of wood boardwalks to ease the...More

Its a steady 2.5km up to the top but worth it. The views are stunning and rival those from Gros Morne summit. There are two red adirondack chairs, and some additional seating, to relax in once you get to the top. Great place to have...More

This 5 km return trail offers excellent views at the top. It took us about 45 min to go up and 40 minutes to come down and we are reasonably in shape. It is a bit exhausting on the hike upward. We did it on...More

With determination I did it! It was a tough trail for myself, I’m overweight but the day was cool and a bit drizzly. Took us almost the 3 hours with lots of stops for me to catch my breath. Heart was pumping and could be...More

The view from the top is breathtaking. But oh boy do you have to earn it. We went on a pretty hot day with no wind, but hungry bugs in the forest, and up, up, up for a good hour. We were completely wet, like...More

A short, steep climb but well worth it for the views from the top. I've hiked many National Parks in North America and seen many views (including the Grand Canyon). But I can't think of any view more beautiful than that from the top of...More

I'm not sure where the ferry drop off is! But the hike is 5km and estimated 2/3 hours based on who hikes! I'd avoid hiking during the hottest times of day, and pack lots of water! I wouldn't hike to late incase it did get... More

Hi, I think you sent this request to me in error. The question was to be about the Look off trail, yet you are inquiring about accommodations. My stay in Gros More was in an RV.
