It is beautifully positioned where you can see it from the 3 coves on the other side. Great view if you get up there, or if you view it from on the water. It has a nice backdrop of Gros Morne too, really good look.

Took us about an hour to drive from Norris Point to Woody Point - I think at some points of the year there's a 10 or 15 minute passenger ferry. Stopped here to find a Geocache, have lunch nearby and then make it up to Tablelands.

We had a beautiful walk to see this lighthouse on a spectacularly sunny day in September. The trails are well maintained and the signage is excellent. Out to the point and back is only about one hour and it is well worth it.

This is a good example of the smaller types of Lighthouses that dot the inlets along the coast. It is a nice photo opportunity.

its essentially a small replica lighthouse with no real distinctive features. For a much better experience, keep walking to the fishing village a little further along to find quaint fishing shacks and great photo ops.

Most beautiful place for a wedding overlooking the bay. Just a short walk from the road to the lighthouse along an uneven path. Worth a visit.

This is a very nice photo-op for the shutter bug. Especially if you can catch the Bonne Bay Ferry in the picture. Check the schedule.

It's the one thing I enjoyed in the little community of Bonne Bay. Sadly, the trail wasn't mowed...it was more like an animal path. If you don't mind walking in tall grass, then go for it. As for me, I come from a province where tall grass means wood ticks. No thanks. A quick photo from the gravel road was... More
