My wife and I saw "This Marvelous - Terrible Place". The production was truly marvelous and provided an intimate insight into the history of life in the out-ports of Newfoundland. The cast were wonderful at projecting the variety of emotions that one would expect in such a portrayal including a goodly dose of humor. This theatre is a Must See!

Amazing acoustics, staff and talent. Saw a great band. Seating was great and was closeby tk the Dock Marina, a great restaurant.

What an amazing, professional production! We were entertained and impressed by the musical talent and impressive performances of all the cast members. We followed the 2 pm Pageant around the village and learned more about the history and human component of the island and its people than anything else we did in Newfoundland. Even in the cool, misty weather of... More

We have been to Trinity many times since this theatre troupe set up residence in the community. We always take in a theatre experience. From the pageant, to dinner theatre to evening theatre this group always manages to present works that speak to the heart and soul of the province.

We visited Trinity in August and made the wise choice of purchasing tickets for the 2 pm pageant put on by The Rising Tide Theatre company. We were impressed with every aspect of the performance. It gave life and character to the fishing village experience. As the performers and audience travelled together to different parts of the village, various historical... More

We recently attended the final performance of Nobelman's Wedding. The production was outstanding and some of the cast had exceptional voices. We booked many months in advance and had some of the best seats in the house. Though a small theatre it was just perfect and we would come back again without hesitation. Very reasonably priced too.

Everything you could hope for from a small seaside theatre and more: beautiful location; impressive structure; solid technical qualities; and an authentic local stage experience. We were fortunate enough to attend a performance of West Moon, a tale of Newfoundland yesteryear which haunts us still. We would once again applaud the cast and crew of West Moon... thank you for... We arrived in Trinity later in the day so weren't able to see the pageant that this troupe is famous for however we were able to catch a play after dinner. This place is pretty popular so you generally have to book or call ahead but we were lucky enough to get in last minute. The script was good and... More

Highly recommend the pagent. It's a historical walking tour of the town, with actors playing roles from back in the day. Truely entertaining!

What a wonderful event in a wonderful village! A 2-hour walk about through the village of Trinity as you follow professional actors portraying historical characters as they talk and sing you through their lives during the earliest ties of Trinity and Newfoundland. Done lightheartedly, but with considerable introspection, the cast of 20 or so actors does a wonderful job as... More
