Occupant of this house worked with Smallwood to promote union with Canada in the 1940's. Fine historical furnishings and rooms decorated accurately for the times. I found some of the wooden furniture to be truly unique.

Well worth the time. The plantation was fully restored to its original state. Tour guides Brenda and Katie were very knowledgeable, and welcomed questions.

A few interesting features but if you're running out of time, missing this won't destroy your trip. The guides were pleasant though
