We took a drive up to Miscou Island while vacationing in the area and enjoyed the views, drove to the lighthouse and spent some time on the beach. Was very nice although quite windy. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed the day we went to the lighthouse.

We loved our mini vacation to Miscou. It was on my bucket list and it was a great fit for an Acadian vacation. We stayed at La Vague camping with a waterfront lot, reasonable prices and great service. The people were friendly on the island - a great little getaway

Beautiful place to visit! This restaurant that I am talking about is at the lighthouse. I verified in Trip Advisor and it's not in there. It's clean and the view from the seating area is amazing! The staff is very friendly and the menu has choices that would make your mouth water. They do have specials but again, it depends... More

Island at the most east end of New Brunswick. Nice destination to add on road trips around east coast. The light house provides amazing view of the coast and beach. You can see seals in water from light house. Would suggest for travellers who like to explore places.

This island used to be accessed by fairy when we went the first times. You can spend the day or days beach combing, looking for what ever washes up and there's lots of stuff. Theirs only a few roads that connect the different coastal views and light houses. Most of the island is uninhabitable, the views all over the island are... More

Amazing campground. I usually prefer to stay at provincial parks to ensure private sites and clean parks, but this site was just was good. We had one of the wilderness tent sites, they are all right next to the beach and some of them border the beach for amazing sunsets. The sites are cozy and private, and the campground very... More

Set up a tent at La Vague Campground on Miscou Island for a couple of nights. The owners were super friendly and helpful. The washrooms are clean, and they have a small store that sells some basic supplies. My campsite was on the water, completely private, and I sat each night and watched the sunset - awesome! There are no... More

I did wish there was more commentary from the guides. I liked the fact you could go outside at the top of the lighthouse.

We took a drive to Miscou Island today and had a lovely day. We stopped at a wonderful interpretive board walk that had nice information panels and interesting vegetation. It was very well maintained. From there we stopped at the bird observation area and then went on to the lighthouse. A nice day for a drive and to view the... More
