On October 1st, we drove to Miscou Lighthouse from Tracadie (less than 1 hour) & spent some time walking around this grassy park area - picnic tables & shelters, public washrooms very clean, nice long sandy beach. Due to off-season, sadly the gift shop in an old historic building was closed (looked very enticing) & no guided tour available. Property... More

A must seen in fall time. The colours are amazing. In summer you can spend hours at the beach there.

We drove out to the far northeast top of New Brunswick to find this old lighthouse. Very nice ladies there to give you it's history. You can get right up to the top and the old glass lense is still there. Nice beach area to explore along with a cafe. Long drive but worth the time.

A friend and I drove up for the day to see the lighthouse. We got some really great pictures and enjoyed the historic information. Make sure to bring a jacket; the winds are brisk!

This lighthouse is one of the nicest preserved heritage in Canada. Beautiful view of the Chaleur Bay and ocean with a nice view of Gaspesie (Quebec) . Make sure to walk by the beach and see millions of colourful stones . If you want to buy souvenirs I recommend to stop at the gift shop , everything is hand made... More

From the moment you leave your car, walk up to the lighthouse, climb its stairs and step outside, you are given endless possibilities of wonderful pictures. The people are very knowledgeable about the lighthouse and surroundings! We greatly enjoyed our visit!

Beautifully preserved, one of the few wooden lighthouses still on active duty in North America. Well stocked gift shop with local artists wares and international mass produced touristic articles. A café/restaurant (didn't try it but next time we will). The light house is open to visitors - 6$ cad per night). Claire met us at the bottom of the light... More

If you are a sea lover or have a marine soul you should go and visit this lighthouse. The location is spectacular. They should do a better job in the souvenir store, because I'm sure that every person that goes there wants to take with them a piece of art or a simple souvenir. But, besides that, the place is...
