Lovely Park

This is a wonderful park with seating areas, walkways, great playground and litte eateries. Very relaxing. Some evenings they have local music.

This is a charming little area with a few shops and eateries fronting a boardwalk along the banks of the beautiful Miramichi River, renouned for salmon and bass fishing. There is space to dock your boat, a water park and playground for children. Throughout the summer, on most nights there is free entertainment in the form of local musicians playing... More

We stopped here in August with our two school age kids. They enjoyed running along the wharf for a few minutes, and we watched a tour boat discharge its passengers nearby before getting ice cream and then looking around one of the shops. It's a nice little spot, but not worth a long drive.

A lovely colourful boardwalk. A pretty lighthouse and plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the views

This place, also advertised generally as something big, is just a small place with a couple of shops and restaurants. And a little depressing, when you are here at 6pm in September. Because there is nothing.

Cute little boardwalk area with play area for children and small shops. It seems to be a very popular spot with the locals. We were told there is live entertainment in the evenings and noted there were boat tours available, however, we simply strolled along the boardwalk and sat watching the boats on the river. Very relaxing.

Drove from Fredericton for Scottish festival. Very disappointed in town, looks like it had seen better days. No stores or restaurants. Pubs and Tim Hortons seems to be the highlight. Festival did not attract many people.

My husband and I walked over to Ritchie Warf after dinner when we visited a couple weeks ago, and there really wasn't much here. We were very underwhelmed. If you have kids it would be a place for you to go because there is a cool Waterpark area for children, but besides that there isn't too much here. There was... More

Ritchie Wharf offers couples or families a place to gather and have an afternoon of music, food services, boat tours or just watching the kids play in the tall ship play area that is the icon of the park. The Miramichi River was a very important place for shipbuilding over a century ago, and the past is the brought back... More

I haven't been here in years but decided to stop. It's a nice place to go from a walk or pack a picnic lunch and eat with the view of the river.
