You can walk down to the lapping waves and watch the birds fly from the ocean to the lake. Easy access. Lovely view of the whitehead island

If you are only on Grand Manan for a day, just avoid this beach/park. There's not a whole lot here except a few trails, picnic tables and a desolate beach. Was not worth the stop for our group.

An ideal park for hiking and picnicking on the sea shore. Birding can be good around the ponds and on the beach.

A gem of a park on Grand Manan. The beach has all the neat beach flotsam, as well as an example of a traditional fish weir. There are lots of trails to hike, and the scenery is quite spectacular

There are bunks, but you'll need to bring an air/foam mattress with you.
