Very reasonable rates . Awesome guided tours available . Well sign posted off 1st Avenue , Neepawa , Manitoba . Her childhood home gives physical presence to some of Her World famous stories like The Stone Angel . Enjoyable and educational .

This lovely old home has lots of Margaret memorabilia which, as a fan, I enjoyed seeing. You won't need a lot of time but it is a great break which may spark you to read her books, again. Even my husband, who didn't even know who she was, enjoyed the visit. There is a suggested $5 admission which helps keep... More

The house has been carefully restored and fans of Margaret Laurence will find a lot to entertain them. If you're not familiar with her novels and other writings, the museum will make you wish you were (and fortunately such deficiencies can always be pleasurably corrected). The house itself is interesting to see as a monument to its time, quite apart... More

You're unlikely to spend hours here, but it's definitely worth visiting if you're interested in Canadian literature, or even architecture for that matter. An interesting late 19th century home filled with period furniture and items related to the life of one of Canada's most important writers Margaret Laurence.
