The massive mountain rises 4000 vertical ft and covers 3000 acres of terrain suitable for all abilities. Intermediates carve the famed fall-line groomed runs while advanced skiers revel in the steeps of Taynton Bowl. The summit’s 8000 ft elevation, just below tree-line, provides breathtaking views and stands tall over this convenient ski-in/ski-out village and the nearby quaint town of Invermere. After an exhilarating day on the slopes guests rejuvenate in Canada’s largest slopeside hot-pools. The resort’s relaxed character and abundance of onsite activities including heliskiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing make it a favourite for destination skiers. This is Panorama Mountain Village.

We came to Panorama from Banff last weekend and we loved the set out of the mountain, the easy access to the chairlifts and the amazing views! Its a shame the mountain was quite icy, we are used to skiing at sunshine Village where there is always plenty of powder, it was a challenge but we all really enjoyed the... More

Epic snow conditions, great ski run choices, good grooming. Needs Gondola bottom to top. Good, quaint mid, upper and top views and coffee huts.

We arrived just at the right time with the fall of 20 cm of fresh snow, which made every run accessible and fun (if you like powder!). The lift queues, are very small, if at all, even first thing. The 9am rush clears by about 9.07! We were told this was known as an ice resort, and by the end... More

We visited as 2 snowboarding couples yesterday (Feb 25th). The mountain is way more ski friendly than snowboard friendly - particularly if you are beginner/intermed snowboarder. We still enjoyed our day as best we could but found it really expensive compared to our regular mountains (Sunshine & Lake Louise in AB). As we found no offers/discount passes available and we... If staying in the resort it's ski in - ski out. For day visitors there's a free gondola from the car park. For beginners there's 2 moving carpets and great teaching from the staff (Mark). As an intermediate skiier I had plenty of choice of trails to keep me entertained all week. Also had the delight of seeing a bobcat... More

The good: great skiing and boarding with ample terrain for all abilities. The mountain is well laid out - all lifts on one side so ease to link up. Taynton Bowl is simply amazing - well worth the hike (and it is quite the hike!). Food is decent and reasonably priced. The bad: the village accommodations are outdated and worn... More

Just back from first visit to Panorama. Went to Canada to avoid the crowds in Europe during the school half term. Long way to go (from UK) but worth it for the empty slopes and wonderful skiing and scenery. Limited skiing for beginners, fantastic for intermediates and above. Wide open slopes and so much snow (best in years apparently). Not... More

My wife and I skied here on Saturday February 18. Temperatures were pleasant, between a few degrees above and a few degrees below freezing and there was no wind to speak of. As this was Saturday of Family Day weekend, our plan was to hit the slopes early and ski hard because we expected crowds as the day wore on.... More

Just spent 2 days, stayed in Fairmont (45 minute drive) but there is a FREE shuttle from Invemere to hill & back several times a day. Was able to drop off teens to go do their thing & I cross country skied. Groomed Nordic trails & many to choose from. Panorama is a great hill to ski or board on,... More

My 2 adult sons and I spent 4 days skiing at Panorama Resort. This was our first trip, but hopefully not our last. The mountain was a great skiing experience. Not many easy runs for beginners, but lots of blue runs for intermediate skiers, and lots challenging runs for better skiers and boarders. We got a dump of snow, and... More
