Recently a friend of mine stopped here for a quick stop. We went for a light hike and were blown away. Cannot say enough about our walk. Great sights, great picture opportunities and a nice easy 20 min walk to the top of the falls....More

Marble Canyon is located in Kootenay National Park, BC, not too far from Banff National Park. It's a much quieter place. Not many people there when we visited. The canyon was really deep and narrow with water falls at the end of the canyon. Tourists...More

This place is a quick drive up the highway from Johnston canyon but with 10% of the crowds. Much easier hike. Maybe 30 minutes round trip. Amazing canyon w turquoise waters. Has plenty of photo and rest stops along the way.

We hiked Marble Canyon around 9:30am one morning and saw only a few groups or couples the whole time; that was kinda pleasant. The hike does go steadily uphill, but it's not the far to the end and you can stop and rest and enjoy...More

This canyon was a highlight to our trip to Kootenay National Park. It was a beautiful walk along the canyon wall with a view to the river below. It is an easy walk and well worth the visit.

The trail leading to the waterfall is very scenic and crosses over several bridges offering great views of the deep canyon below. The waterfall does not disappoint after the hike. It is not just one waterfall but several waterfalls as the river drops from one...More

Nice 30 minute hike up to the top. Wildfire destroyed a large part of the forest 14 years ago but the new trees growing and the flowers visible below with the grey colours from the dead trees brings beauty to the forest. The water is...More
