Not your average bar food

Good fresh steaks. Other selections as well. More like something you'd grill up at home. Don't go there often but have always enjoyed it when we did go there.

Take your picture with the giant buffalo, and go to the shops, but there's not much else to do. I was super bored.

Awesome activity! It is easy to spend at least half a day here, longer if you hit up the museaum and shops! There is a lot of fun and history here. It would be a great time for kids and kids at heart. There are also several shops with North Dakota made items, art, gifts. There is a used shop... More

Hard to rate the Frontier Village closed & out of season but I reckon the kids would really enjoy it and while I thought it cheesy , they have different tastes ! I think the Worlds Largest Buffalo came first , visible from the Interstate to pull in travelers to Jamestown ND in 1959 & the Frontier Village (& later... More

It's a roadside attraction. The World's Largest Buffalo combined with a frontier village that offers carriage rides, and a stroll along the boardwalks. There's a gift shop or two, a place that sells ice cream cones, and a buffalo museum with real buffalo out in the pasture. Parking can be tricky, especially if you're in a motorhome or pulling a... We were there with friends and got to see two Buffalo and a baby one. Then we got to go through the small museum that they have there. I really enjoyed that because it had all kinds of animals and also had antiques to see. The gift shop have a lot of different things in there to buy. Me and... More

Fun place to go with kids and let your imagination run. Kids love to play pretend in this little "town".

The Frontier Village was closed for the season, but you can still stop in to see the World's Largest Buffalo statue. It is one of those stops where its nice to get out, stretch the legs and get some fun family photos.

This a great place to stop on a roadtrip. It's a free pioneer village, which means there is nothing too extravagant and it's very quirky. There are a variety of typical frontier buildings including a really interesting Writer's Shack. There are animals, gift shops featuring locally crafted items, strange mannequins, and of course the giant bison statue. Well worth the... More
