This is one of the best places in Fargo. It is a nonprofit, affordable and shows cool movies. the tickets are usually around $8 but popcorn is only $4 and for special events tickets are sometimes as low at $2! It is nice so support a local business and to feel some of the culture while watching movies that aren't... More

Breath of nostalgia mixed with current art. This place is worth fighting for. I will support this venue for the rest of my life.

The Fargo Theater is a beautiful Art Deco theater which shows movies that you probably couldn't catch anywhere else. Plus in March, they are the home for the Fargo Film Festival, which shows movies of all kinds from all over the US. We love seeing movies (and other entertainment such as concerts) here.

We were here for an opera performance and it was wonderful. The Wurlitzer organ was played prior to the performance and is really something spectacular to see. The young man playing was incredible. The popcorn is hot and fresh. When you walk into the Fargo Theater you feel like you are walking back in time and it's wonderful. I would... More

This is a lovely example of Art Deco architecture, built in 1937 and restored in the 1990s. We attended a concert with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt and the acoustics were fantastic, even in the balcony. The place is SMALL, so milling around before a performance or during an intermission is difficult. There is lots of good parking in the... More

My friends and I just went to the Movie "Lion" there last week and it was a wonderful place. Organization and Friendliness was outstanding and fun to visit a historical site. We enjoyed it very much.

Didn't have time to sit down & watch a film but would of loved too ! Classic Cinema in Art Deco Style and even the Sign dominates the main street (Broadway !), Fitting I thought ?
