We been this place on the labour day. It was quiet intresting and mind blowing beauties around us. We never seen such a beautiful garden before. There is a catcus museum in the garden and there are so many varieties of them around. I really appreciate the workers who maintain this place in shape.

A lovely place to meander around and relax. The gardens are beautiful and it's a lovely walk around the gardens. I especially loved the 911 Memorial where you can pay respect to those lost on that day and read about the rescuers. The peace gardens is easy to get to. If you are Canadian remember to bring your passport or... More

Visited the International Peace Garden on the 15th Anniversary of 9/11. The Gamrdens have a memorial to 9/11 which has girders from the fallen towers. It pays tribute to the fallen heroes and to the role Canada played in the time of disaster. We missed the ceremony, but the memorial display is always awe inspiring.

I visited with my parents who have some difficulty walking. Upon entrance we took the loop through the Canadian side. We really enjoyed the peace chapel and reading the engraved quotes. We then spent time in the conservatory and I loved the cactus garden. (I'm partial to the desert southwest). We then had a picnic at a Pavillion just outside... More

We arrived after they had a flood. The gardens were still beautiful. The next day we drove to Boissevain Manitoba Canada to buy my Grandson a hockey stick. This was a beautiful small town. There were paintings on the buildings and flowers everywhere. We camped in the Peace Gardens 2 nights. Showers, electric, water , shade restaurant, dump station

It had been a number of years since our last visit. We were pleasantly surprised to see the great indoor cactus display. If you are a cactus grower, there are various types from other parts of the world! The rest of the gardens were just after there peak blooming, but still a great floral display. Unfortunately, the peace towers have... More

We really enjoyed this place. The gardens were lovely and full of beautiful flowers. People were working in the flower beds as we were there keeping them pretty and clean of weeds....good job!! The Cactus building had a huge selection and was very impressive. Would recommend anyone in the area to check this out.
