Ever wonder where chocolate comes from? Now you can watch your chocolate being made at Black Mountain Chocolate's Visible Factory on Trade Street in downtown Winston-Salem, with its big windows and informative displays. We offer guided tours and tastings on select Saturdays (with advance reservations), and self-guided tours are available any time we are open. Enjoy a wide variety of confections, pastries, cookies, and brownies from our Kitchen. Have a scoop of gelato or an old fashioned root beer float. Sip an espresso, cappuccino, tea, or drinking chocolate. Come savor chocolate in a whole new way!

This was a fun stop, and you can check out some of the chocolate production process through the windows in the back - sort of a self-guided tour. They also have a few selections of chocolate that you can taste test while you're there, and...More

Very disappointed. Only dark chocolate, not much of a selection at all. Did not purchase anything. Would not return!

Watch as they make chocolate delights. I think they offer tours as well. Then go up front and treat yourself to some truffles or other chocolate treats. Tasty!

It's not a guided tour. More of you see how the chocolate is made from the window.
