My first impression was, wow, this is nice and peaceful. The view of the quarry from the overlook is amazing. There are plenty of parking spaces and the walking trails are nice. You can also bike ride there.

A Hidden Gem in the heart of Winston with a lovely blue Quarry Lake, the lovely observation deck to look at the city and the nice walking path, makes this park special. It is pet friendly with picnic tables.
We took our kids aged 6-14 here on a cloudy cool day. Theyhad more fun than we could imagine. There are large boulders to climb on, interesting circular sculptures to climb on and amazing views from multiple locations. Nice clean restrooms as well.
