We discovered such a beautiful little garden right in the heart of Wilmington. While visiting this beautiful arboretum you'll discover a fragrant rose garden, a koi pond with an Asian arch and bridge and much more! The gazebo is beautiful as well. It's such a nice place to stroll and sit and relax! Bring the kids and enjoy the butterfly... More

Small but very nice for a short visit, no admission charge, excellent displays throughout the approximately 10 acres of all varieties of local plants and flowers. Also an education program is run by a scheduled calendar, announced in the local newspaper

It is very easy to pass by without noticing this very nice arboretum on busy Oleander Drive. A truly peaceful place. Well kept gardens are a pleasure to explore, especially the Japanese garden area. Hours could be spent here relaxing and enjoying the beauty.

We first visited during an art and music festival. Great place to walk around on a nice day. Check their calendar and attend during an event to top off your experience.

I'm not going to lie, it's not my 8 year old daughter's favorite thing to do, because we pretty much tell her to stand here and take a picture most of the day, but there is a little bit of kid friendly stuff to do: The best part is a Koi pond, where you can feed the fish (bring quarters).... More

I have been going here since I was a child. My mother would always take us here. We even did the Junior Master Gardener course (whih was so much fun) when we were little. I now bring my children here. Perfect place to get their energy out, beautiful scenery, and picnic outside.

My boyfriend and I had never been and we love nature. We went at the end of spring when the weather was nice and everything was in bloom. It was a nice little walk. Beautiful colors. It was free. A nice hidden gem in town.

I will preface this by saying that I've been here 1/2 dozen times over the years. I have always loved seeing the amazing garden. Today- not too much to look at sadly. They are improving the garden which meant that over 50% of the once lush garden is totally gutted. The rest just felt blah. Looking forward to it being... More
