Wonderful time exploring unique shops in the old Cotton Exchange on the riverfront in downtown Wilmington. This was followed by lunch in the German Cafe...which was excellent. Authentic German atmosphere and food....including homemade traditional deserts. The restaurant also had a nice selection of German chocolates...More

As we entered town; we didn't realize that the shops had closed already. We could not make it back during this trip. Would like to in the future.

Located on the Cape Fear river. An older exchange building revitalized to accommodate speciality shopping. Easy to walk around, several floors - you could experience the shops within an hour.

A great building in the historic Wilmington NC area. The old architecture and bricks are wonderful to see. Inside is multi levels of shops....gifts, art, clothing, shoes, coffee, etc. You could spend a couple hours easily just browsing.
