This place is great. It’s not a giant zoo but it has a good variety of animals for its size. The enclosures are not as big as you see in larger zoos but they are not small by any means. What do you expect it’s...More

The staff was nice. I love animals and I appreciate the zoo for being able to have them there to be close to them and see them. I understand they are not a large zoo with the funding availability off that such as the North...More

We visit Tregembo Animal Park every year when we visit the Wilmington area (Carolina Beach). The park offers many opportunities to hand feed a variety of animals (animal food available in gift shop). There is a great selection of big cats, giraffes, monkies, reptiles, exotic...More

We had a great time walking in the park and feeding all the animals. Lots of variety of animals with the information about each animal . The staff was very nice and was a great way to spend the morning.

I am writing this review to respond to the reviewers who think they can, with a 30 minute trip, become instantaneous experts on private zoos, animals, private zoos and Tregembo Animal Park in particular. It is not that simple. George Tregembo who started the park,...More

This place is a horrible place for their animals. They supposedly rescued them but not neglect them just for profit. No shade, lonely animals, small enclosures, no enrichment whatsoever. Would like to see the owners live like these animals. Despicable. I would not have paid...More
