Being a baby boomer I grew up with cowboys and the wild west on tv. On the route to Montana we stopped off in Deadwood to see what it was all about. You relive the wild west in this town and its obvious that gambling still has an influence although poker has given way to slot machines now. Still it's... More

Had a nice dinner and visit for a friends birthday. Coaster and mini golf are $2/person, train is $3/person. Cute little 'town' area with general store and ice cream parlor. Tickets can be purchased in the ice cream parlor. The restaurant sign technically hangs over the kitchen entrance so for the restaurant, go through the double door to the left... More

I love this place and if you are looking for something different, I highly recommend it. That steak is great, as is everything else I've eaten there.

Fun digs. Easily accommodated the 33 of us. Delicious food. Fall off the bone ribs and the smokehouse chicken was awesome!

It was a great place for the kids to play and ride the train; However, as far as the food way over priced, who only offers 1 side with a $15 steak. They serve the food on small plate so the plate is full. Staff was nice waitress friendly. One thing I will say there isn't much better food around the... More

When first arriving the scenery outside is cool and gives you different things to look at..I didn't realize until coming to trip advisor later there was a roller coaster? I saw the put put golf but no activity anywhere.. signs were NO WHERE to be found to let you know when you could participate in activities or the cost..believe you... More

I thought this was just a small roller coaster attached to a restaurant. There is so much more! The train ride is well worth it for kids and adults. There are terrifically strange things in the woods! I won't spoil the surprise. There's also mini golf, a kids playground, a goldfish pool, an ice cream store with vintage comics, and... More

Yes, Deadwood is in the middle of nowhere. It can't possibly be anything fun or of value. Can it?? Be fooled when you go to Deadwood. It's great!!!! We started with a ride on the coaster while we waited for the restaurant to open. I thought it was a kiddie coaster. It gives you a jolt at the beginning, and... More

My first time, visiting with family in the area and they brought us here. Very unique and unusual place to visit. Loved the old town atmosphere, can't wait to come back during season when more is going on. So many choices of food to choose from, everyone found their favorites!
